Kerala Agricultural University, established by KAU Act(Act 1933 of 71) is the premier and principal institution providing human resources, skills and technology for agricultural development of the state. KAU started functioning on 1st February 1972. Organistaion Mandatory functions of KAU include initiating, interfacing and integrating Education, Research and Extension activities in agriculture and allied branches of science.
